January 26, 2008 - 4 Months Old

Today Kyleigh is 4 months old. We can't believe how quickly the time has gone by. Every day brings something new - she has very good hand dexterity now and loves to play with her toys, she has also begun to laugh a bit, which delights her mom and dad very much. A few times she has rolled over from her tummy to her back, but its not something she can do regularly yet. We've begun to let her spend time in her highchair seat each day and she seems to love sitting up like the rest of us - it's only a matter of time before we have to retire the swing and the saucer seat. The pictures were all taken on her birthday - notice that she loves to have dad sing to her. MomMom will also be happy to see that she likes her baby doll. Until later...

Kyleigh and her Friends

Mom and dad had a party on January 5th and I had a lot of new friends there. I wish they had taken more pictures! We all had a good time. My friends that were at the party were Gwen (2 years) and Lucy (5 months), Will (9 months), Gray (3 1/2 months), Charlie (5 months), Renee (3 months), Jessica (3 years), Sophie (3 months). Dad said our house looked like an episode of "John and Kate Plus Eight".
The photos here were taken at diffent times. They are me with [1] Uncle Tom Rakoske, [2] Keith Ramsay, [3] Ben (his birthday is 12 hours before mine), [4] Christine, [5] Debbie Kale, [6] Debbie McMath, and [7] Lucy and Gwen.

Who do I look like?

So, here is a picture of mom and dad when they were little. Who do you think I look like? So far, mom thinks I look like daddy.

Christening

Kyleigh was Christened on Sunday, December 30th. Her godparents are her daddy's good friend, Steve Lutz and her mommy's sister, Karen Hejl. The ceremony was beautiful and was attended by MomMom, PopPop, Nana, Aunt Karen, Aunt Pat, Steve & Debbie, Diana & Larry, Mike & Karen, Tom & Brenda and Uncle Tom & Sheila. We had a lovely party afterwards at MomMom and PopPop's, but the busy holiday and the long ceremony took their toll on Kyleigh and we had to make an early exit. We're glad everyone was there!

Kyleigh's First Christmas 2007

Christmas was wonderful this year, as usual. Kyleigh's first visit with Santa went well . We hosted Christmas Eve dinner, as usual, for a few close friends. Kyleigh looked stunning as ever in her red satin gown with white velvet onsie. Christmas Day started with a quiet morning at home, followed by present opening at MomMom and PopPop's with Aunt Karen. The evening was split between Aunt Kathy's and Aunt Christine's. What a full day! We celebrated Christmas early with Nana and Auntie Paula since they would be in Virginia on Christmas Day.

Thanksgiving 2007

Thanksgiving this year was wonderful. The weather was great and we got some really nice photos outside. Aunt Karen came home.

Halloween 2007

We visited a pumpkin patch with Aunt Chrissy, and my future best friends Gwenie and Lucy. My PopPop loves this picture of me in the pumpkins, so we had to post it. Aunt Karen was home this year because her friend Robin got married. We all had a nice visit and Kyleigh got to meet her second cousin Joseph for the first time.

Kyleigh Elizabeth Musick is born

Kyleigh was born at 1:20am on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. She weighed 7 pounds, 15.2 ounces and was 21 inches long.
